About Us

Gear to Provide a Safe Clinic

Funded by a partial grant from the Florida Panthers Foundation in March of 2019 we were able to purchase 6 sleds and sled hockey sticks.  Hockey Players In Business funded the protective hockey gear required to keep our participants safe.

We provide the sleds in sizes to accommodate almost anyone ages 4 to 90.  Our adjustable sleds are designed to fit a small child to a full grown adult.  We have two pusher sleds with skilled hockey players for those who cannot or do not wish to propel themselves.  All  the USA Hockey required safety equipment is also provided in 9 different sizes from youth small (small child) to Adult large (large adult).  We have volunteers on hand to assist with the application of safety gear and selection of correct fitting sled.

The clinic is facilitated by a real Sled Hockey Team and staff

The Tiger Sharks sled hockey team is a wonderful group of athletes dedicated to growing the sport of sled hockey.  Their players and staff are on the ice to assist our participants in learning  the skills and fundamentals of the adaptive sport.  You can practice on one half of the ice with the novice skaters or join the Tiger Sharks team on the other half as they practice drills and skill development or do a mock game (scrimmage). Each skater has about 20 to 25 minutes on the ice depending on waiting participants.

100% inclusion

We want you to be completely happy with the experience. If you have questions about us, our equipment,  or assistance available for special requests, please get in touch!

Theodor Mathieu, Lake Worth, Fla

1. A disabled mother of 2 boys was able to play hockey with her boys that play youth hockey.
As a parent of sons that play , there is no feeling like that.
2. Youngster with downs syndrome was able to be pushed in a sled, and shot hockey pucks with his brother.
3. 3 friends that are huge Panther fans, with physical issues that prevent them from skating, were able to experience what it's like to play hockey and the feeling of gliding across the ice and taking shots on net.
